Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find my Google Place ID?
Search for your business on Google Maps. Click on your business listing. Look at the URL - the Place ID is the code after "place/" or use Google's official Place ID Finder. Or just enter your business name and city in our tool and we'll help you find it.
Where should I put the QR code?
Best spots: checkout counter, receipt footer, business cards, vehicle stickers, email signatures, and invoices. Anywhere a happy customer might see it right after a positive experience.
Is this really free?
100% free, forever. We're Niagara Stands Out, a local print and review technology company. We built this tool to help Canadian businesses get more reviews. If you want to upgrade to NFC tap-to-review technology (3x more effective), we sell those too.
What's the difference between QR and NFC?
QR codes require the customer to open their camera, aim at the code, and tap the link. NFC (Near Field Communication) just requires tapping their phone on a stand - it opens the review page automatically. NFC has a 24% conversion rate vs 8% for QR codes.
Do QR codes expire?
No. The QR code links to your Google review page, which is permanent. As long as your Google Business Profile exists, the QR code will work forever.
Can I customize the QR code design?
Our free generator creates a standard black-and-white QR code with your business name. For branded QR codes with your logo and colours, check out our Business Brand Kit ($99) which includes custom-branded review materials.
